Tampa, Florida -- Tampa Police have reopened the area at Jefferson Street just north of East Jackson Street following a collision that caused a diesel fuel leak Tuesday morning.
Sources at the scene say it appears a vodka delivery truck and a car were involved in the accident, and that the car punctured one of the fuel tanks on the delivery truck causing a small amount of diesel fuel to leak onto the street.
A kiddie pool has been placed under the leak to prevent more of it from spilling onto the street. Authorities say about 60 gallons of fuel have spilled onto the street.
