Tampa, Florida -- A Tampa woman is lucky to have only minor injuries after a car crashed through her living room on Tuesday morning.
Hillsborough deputies say shortly before 7:30, Alejandro Giraldo pulled out of the Carlton Arms Apartments and into the path of Anderia Lafond, violating her right-of-way.
The two cars collided, and Lafond's Nissan Altima spun out of control, hitting a parked car and then going into a house on North Himes Avenue.
The car went through the home's living room and struck a couch where 73-year-old Minerva Pagan-Rios was sitting.
Both Lafond and Pagan-Rios were taken to the hospital, and have since been released.
Detectives say Giraldo was uninjured in the accident. He was cited for no proof of insurance and violation of right-of-way.
