Campbell Soup Co. has voluntarily recalled 300 cases of its 24-ounce-sized Prego Traditional Italian Sauce due to spoilage.
The product subject to the recall was made at the Campbell Soup Supply Company establishment in Paris, Texas and was shipped on December 21, 2013 to retailer distribution centers that serve the following seven states: Arizona, Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico and Oklahoma.
The company says people who have purchased the product should not eat it. The recall does not affect any other Campbell products. No illnesses have been reported in connection with the recall.
