(USA TODAY) -- While the half-way shot Fast & Furious 7 figures out how to move on without Paul Walker, the late actor's other planned projects have gone to re-casting.
Variety reports that Rupert Friend (you recognize him from HBO's Homeland) will star in the upcoming Agent 47, which would have featured Walker, who died in late November in a car crash. The Hollywood Reporter and E! News say Friend is "in talks" at this point to join the cast of the movie, which is a sequel to 2007's Hitman.
James Marsden has reportedly been tapped for another Walker role in the movie adaption of Nicholas Sparks' The Best of Me, and the actor is in "early talks" to take on the role, according to THR. Michelle Monaghan, originally cast as the female lead in the film, will stay on.
Walker's last complete film, Hours, was released as scheduled on Dec. 13 in select cities.
