Tampa, Florida-- The family of a Bay Area pilot has released a statement on his condition just over a month after his fiery crash at Tampa International Airport.
Mark Love, 58, was in critical condition after his aircraft crash-landed at the airport back in December.

Love's family Monday said he is now in fair condition, allowing for his release from the hospital for rehabilitation out of state.
"We want to thank the first responders, physicians and especially Tampa Police Officers Brian Gentry and Dave Dennison... It meant the world to him that Dennison and Gentry received medals today for their heroic rescue," they added.
