Tampa, Florida-- The Terriers had three players sitdown at the conference table, pen in hand and masked with a smile from ear to ear.
Fred Carter, the big defensive end who anchored the Hillsbrough High line, put his pen to paper signing a letter of intent to Jackson State to play his college football in Mississippi.
While fellow teammate Christian Flores will stay in state in Lake Wales, the Pre-Law major will attend Webber International University. Flores is a versatile player, seeing time on the defensive line, linebacker and long snapper for head coach Earl Garcia's Terriers.
While baseball standout Diamond Johnson, chose St. Petersburg College to play his collegiate ball. Johnson has aspirations of being drafted by the Major Leagues and by attending a two-year school he has access for that goal, rather than attending a four-year school and having to wait until his junior season.
