Many people pick skim over whole milk as part of a low fat diet, but two new European studies say people could actually slim down with the full fats.
Scandinavian researchers found those who picked butter and whole-milk actually kept off the pounds. Also, in a meta-analysis in the European Journal of Nutrition, researchers found there was not evidence to support that high-fat dairy contributed to obesity and heart disease.
They aren't sure if people feel fuller with the fattier dairy and tend to eat less or if our bodies metabolize the fats differently.
