Tampa, Florida -- The paddlers were out in full force today in downtown Tampa for the 6th annual Sweetwater Paddle for the Cure event.
The event featured a 5-mile course for kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards, but the main event was the Dragon Boat race.
There were also kayaks available for rent, as the best view of the race is from the water.
Along with the racing, fest goers were treated to food trucks, live music, and all sorts of games.
So far, Paddle for the Cure has raised over $15,000 for cancer research.
It also attracts some of the top high school and collegiate paddlers from around the nation.
