Tampa, Florida -- For the second time in as many months, troubled former Tampa Bay Rays player Elijah Dukes was arrested for driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license.
Hillsborough County Jail records show 26-year-old Dukes was released Monday morning on a $500 bond. He was arrested earlier that morning at Hillsborough Avenue East and 40th Street North in Tampa.

It was the latest in a string of arrests for Dukes, who most recently played for the Washington Nationals.
He was arrested April 24, again for driving on a suspended/revoked license. Before that, Dukes was arrested March 2 after a former girlfriend accused him of hitting her. At that time, he was charged with aggravated assault on a pregnant woman and driving with a suspended or revoked license.
In past years, Dukes has faced charges of domestic violence and not paying child support.
Dukes played three seasons with the then-Tampa Bay Devil Rays. He was cut by the Washington Nationals just before the end of spring training in 2010.
