Tampa, FL-- The USF Bulls added transfer defensive lineman Aaron Lynch, from Notre Dame.
Lynch started 6 games for the Irish in his freshman season, recording 5.5 sacks and 7 tackles for loss. Lynch was named to the first team Freshman All America team.
He played his high school football at Island Coach HS in Cape Coral, but reportedly wanted to continue his college career back in the state of Florida.
"With Aaron originally being from Florida, we're very familiar with the type of player he is," said USF head coach Skip Holtz. "Aaron had a great freshman season at Notre Dame, and we're excited to welcome into the Bulls' family."
Lynch was one of the top recruits in the nation, coming out of high school in 2010.
