Longoria leaves game with left knee soreness

St. Petersburg, FL-- Rays' third-baseman Evan Longoria has left tonight's game with Seattle, after sliding awkwardly into second base.  The Rays' training staff described the injury, as "left knee soreness."

Longoria appeared to hurt his knee, although he left under his own power.  He was out on the play in the 3rd inning.

There is no word yet on Longoria's possible return.
