Tampa, FL-- The Tampa Bay Buccaneers' DB Ahmad Black, was caught with marjuana last week, according to Tampabay.com.
Black, a second-year pro out of Florida who played his prep football at Lakeland HS, was cited for possession of cannibus in Hillsborough County, which is a misdemeanor. He was not arrested. The citation ordered Black to appear in court next month.
If he's convicted, Black could be fined $1,000 and sentenced to a year in jail. That's the punishment in Florida, if convicted of possessing less than 20 grams of marijuana.
However, it's likely Black could be eligible for a diversion program. His record would be cleared if he paid a fine, and submitted to regular drug tests.
