USF holds on for 61-57 win, Rudd suffers concussion

Tampa -USF watched a 13 point late second half lead dwindle away, but held on to win 61-57 over George Mason.

Bulls' Guard Anthony Collins left the game on stretcher midway through the second half, after he took a knee to the forehead. Collins is currently in a Tampa area hospital this evening undergoing evaluation for a neck injury. 10News has learned he has sensation to his extremities.

10News has also learned Big East Player of the Week Victor Rudd sustained a concussion and left the game with under a minute to play.

The Bulls scoring was led by Jawanza Poland with 16 points and Martino Brock chipped in 14 more as USF earned their third straight win.
