Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Doug Martin
The 49ers birth in the Super Bowl is good news for the Buccaneers, as rookie running back Doug Martin will replace San Francisco's Frank Gore on the NFC squad in the Pro Bowl. Martin makes it three Tampa Bay players headed to Hawaii, joining wide receiver Vincent Jackson and defensive tackle Gerald McCoy.
Martin set a rookie franchise record with over 1450 yards rushing and 11 touchdowns. The 2012 first round selection rushed for 100 yards in 5 games this season for the Buccaneers.
He becomes the fourth running back in Bucs history to earn a trip to the Pro Bowl. Martin joins Warrick Dunn, Mike Alstott and James Wilder that have gone to Oahu for the game.
