Tampa, Florida-- Tried and true Tampa Bay sports fans now have a chance to win free tickets to over 200 local sporting events, the Tampa Bay Sports Commission announced Friday.
In the upcoming 'King of Tampa Bay Sports' raffle, one lucky local will receive regular-season, home game tickets for all five professional teams' games, plus USF football and basketball home games, and admission to local bowl games!
"As the King of Beers, Budweiser is proud to present the King of Tampa Bay Sports. We feel fortunate to help fulfill one of the wildest dreams of a local sports fan," said Bill Gieseking, Pepin Distributing Director of Marketing and Commission Chairman of the Board.
The package, fit for a 'king', includes the following:
- 2013 USF Football season
- 2013-14 USF Men's Basketball season
- 2013 Beef O' Brady's Bowl
- 2014 Outback Bowl
- 2014 Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg
The commission says they will only accept 200 total contest entries for a contribution of $200 each.
They will narrow it down to three people with a random drawing on May 16, and then draw the winner at the 3rd Annual Tampa Bay Sneaker Soiree on May 23.
Continuing the Commission's community-first efforts, proceeds from the contest will go to benefit local youth sports programming.
"We are blessed with the best community sports partners on the planet. This is yet another testament of them stepping up for our local kids," said Rob Higgins, Tampa Bay Sports Commission Executive Director.
