Tampa, FL-- Bucs' quarterback Josh Freeman reaffirmed his good relationship with head coach Greg Schiano, amid reports they weren't seeing eye to eye.

"The entire off season, I've been in constant communication with coach on football-related issues, life related things," Freeman told reporters at One Buc Place on Tuesday.   "Coach and I have a great relationship.  Every now and again people would call and say what's up with your coach.  We know how it is and it's something that Im not too concerened about. I'm living it and I know how it is."

After the season ended, Schiano said he wanted more competition for the 2013 season, at every position, including quarterback.  That led to speculation that he would bring in a quarterback to challenge Freeman.  Schiano later made it clear that Josh Freeman is the Bucs' starting quarterback.

The Bucs released, then re-signed, quarterback Dan Orlovsky, but that's been it.

The NFL Draft begins Thursday, Apr. 25.  The Bucs don't have a first round draft choice, having traded it to the New York Jets in the Darrelle Revis trade.
