Ben Zobrist is the most versatile player on the Rays, and he was rewarded for it by being named to his second All-Star team.
The primarily second baseman for the Tampa Bay made it to the "Mid-Summer Classic" as a reserve player for the American League.
Zobrist will be the Rays' only representative at Citi Field on July 16th. He's put together a solid season despite unimpressive numbers. Zobrist has a .260 batting average with 5 home runs and 44 runs batted in.
Rays' starting pitcher Matt Moore is amongst some of the biggest snubs for the exhibition against the National League. Moore entered tonight's game with the White Sox with and 11-3 record with a 3.65 earned run average. The southpaw leads Tampa Bay in wins and strikeouts with 92 in 93 innings of work.
