The Storm needed this win badly, not only to snap a five game losing streak but to lock up a spot in the playoffs. Fan appreciation night was met with disappointment as the Storm allowed Pittsburgh to post 27  fourth quarter points to win 48-37.

It wasn't ideal but the Storm backed their way in to the AFL Playoffs with a New Orleans loss to the Arizona Rattlers.

On a night where Storm wide receiver Joe Hills could've set a franchise mark for receptions in a season, it was a dubious franchise record that was set in the form of six loses in a row.

After falling into an early 14-0 hole, the Storm battled back to take the lead when R.J. Roberts scooped up a loose ball and returned it forty-eight yards to the endzone. The Power fumble marked one of the 10 turnovers the two teams combined for.

Pittsburgh avenged a home blowout loss to the Storm back in May, by holding Tampa Bay to less than 40 points for the third time this season.

Despite a 2-7 home record the Storm can still lock up a spot in the playoffs with a win in Jacksonville next week.
