Rod Frazier is a parent liaison and running backs coach at football powerhouse Manatee High School.

Bradenton, FL -- The Manatee County School District will resume its investigation of assistant football coach Rod Frazier, Superintendent Rick Mills announced on Monday.

Frazier is accused of inappropriately touching several female students and last week the state filed 10 misdemeanor charges against the 35-year-old.

Mills says the district's investigation will resume on Tuesday but he did not give a timeline for when it would be wrapped up.

Mills also said depending on what they find, Frazier, who coaches at Manatee High School, could be fired.

When asked how the district's investigation this time would be different than the first investigation Mills replied, "Since I wasn't here for the initial investigation I really can't comment on that, all I know is (he) was suspected prior to my arrival here. I've changed the structure of the Office of Professional Standards to report directly to me, so I understand and know what's going on with the investigation and can give clear guidance and clarity around these investigations."

Mills also announced on Monday that all district employees will now undergo training on identifying and reporting suspected child abuse. Previously only teachers were required to go through the training.

Meantime, Frazier's attorney continues to insist his client did nothing wrong.

"His reaction is the same old thing: it's he denies and has denied and continues to deny and we will file a not guilty plea in the case," Ed Mulock told 10 News.

Frazier is scheduled to be arraigned next month.
