Tampa, FL -- The Tampa Bay Storm fired head coach Dave Ewart after his 3rd season at the helm of the Arena Football League team ended Saturday with a 69-62 loss to Jacksonville.
"We appreciate the hard work and selfless dedication that Dave Ewart has given to the Tampa Bay Storm as our head coach these past three seasons," said President Derrick Brooks. "Unfortunately, our results have not met expectations and I believe a coaching change is in the best interest of the organization. We wish coach Ewart all the best in his future endeavors and thank him for all he has given to the Storm organization and our players during his tenure with us."
During Ewart's tenure, the Storm finished 22-32. He was with the Storm organization for 10 years.
