Tampa, FL -- Bucs' head coach Greg Schiano reflected on his team's special teams mistakes in the loss to Baltimore, and didn't seem all that upset.
Chris Owusu fumbled a punt. The KO return team gave up a long return. And the punt team had one blocked in their own end zone, and all mistakes led to Ravens' scores.
"Some of the things we did [lead] to a punt -- which got blocked," Schiano told reporters. "You should never have a punt block, but you don't see that and you don't leave with that feeling. Some of these young kids, it's their first time playing in a game. All I asked them was I wanted to see execution. I wanted to see effort and I wanted to see us taking care of the football. At times we did, but at other times we didn't. I want to see how you play against another team. I want to see how we coach in a game atmosphere, so all those things we had the opportunity to do, whether it was pouring rain or bright sunshine or a nice moon, it wouldn't have mattered."
Schiano also updated the injury situation. Owusu suffered an ankle injury, Peyton Hillis left the game with a knee injury, and Danny Gorrer had a groin injury. But he wouldn't go into specifics on the severity of the injuries.
