ST. PETERSBURG, Florida -- Not even a hometown crowd could help Kirkland, Washington stop the storm of hits and strike outs the Palma Ceia and Bayshore Little League's All-Stars put on them en route to winning 10-1 in the Softball Juniors World Series.

The team out of South Tampa knocked 11 hits, and starting pitcher Dana Rowley pitched a complete game 10 strikeout performance for her sixth win of the tournament.
