Tampa, FL - After playing in a preseason game at Raymond James Stadium, and their first regular season game in Maryland, the Plant Panthers were eager to play at home, in the friendly and familiar environment of Dad's Stadium.

The Panthers defense held the Knights offense in check, putting lots of pressure on quarterback Travis Forehand.  In the first quarter Plant's Austin Hudson intercepted a Forehand pass, setting up the Panther's first score.

Quarterback Colby Brown got Plant on the board in the first quarter, when he tossed a floater that Clarke Miller pulled down for a one-yard score.

In the second quarter, on a third and 20, Brown on a delayed draw gave the ball to Alexander Jackson, who ran 50 yards for the score.  Jackson would finish with 145 rushing yards on 15 carries and one touchdown, helping Plant beat Robinson 28-7, the ninth consecutive win for Plant in the series.
