In Bradenton two rivals squared off Friday night when the number one ranked Manatee Hurricanes played host to the Southeast Seminoles. But zero to zero was as close as Southeast would get in this one. Manatee exploded out of the gate to score 27 first quarter points included several touchdowns from running back Trevon Walters.
In the second quarter, Manatee just kept pouring it on, only this time they turned to the aerial assault with a 25-yard touchdown from Q-B Josh Meyer to Kelvin McNight to make it 47-0. Before the half was out, Manatee made it 62-0; and that was how it ended as neither team scored in the second half.
