In a backyard rivalry battle, Jefferson came from behind to top Chamberlain 28-24. The Dragons jumped on the scoreboard in the first quarter when Deiondre Porter connected with James Wilson on a six-yard touchdown pass, giving Jefferson a 7-0 lead.

But Chamberlain would come storming back on their ensuing possession, as Josh Bennett hit Aaron Martin for a 12-yard touchdown pass in the end zone. Following a two-point conversion the Chiefs captured an 8-7 lead.

Midway through the second quarter, Chamberlain's Anthony Davis picked off a Porter bomb deep in Chiefs territory. The turnover set up a big run by Nick McNeil on a direct snap, the half back rumbled sixty plus yards to the end zone. The score put the Chiefs up 15-7.

But a strong second half comeback propelled the Dragons a playoff spot and 28-24 victory.
