World Woods golf course in Hernando County
Brooksville, FL-- The 19th annual Michelin Golf Classic raised approximately $325,000 for two local charities... the Joshua House and the Tutor-a-Bull program at USF.
The Joshua House provides shelter for at-risk children.
The Tutor-a-Bull program provides academic support for Hillsborough County middle school students, who are struggling academically. Over 400 USF education majors have served as tutors since the inception of the program 3 years ago, and have helped over 1,100 students with tutoring.
10 News Anchor Reginald Roundtree and 10 News Sports Anchor Dave Wirth, participated in the golf tournament Monday, at the World Woods Golf Club in Brooksville, along with over 150 golfers.
