Sea Island, GA (Sports Network) - Looking to erase the sting of their historic
loss at Medinah, Davis Love III and Jim Furyk both fired a 4-under-par 66 on
Saturday to share the lead after three rounds of the McGladrey Classic at the
Seaside Course.
Love, who captained the U.S. during its stunning Ryder Cup collapse three
weeks ago, rolled home a 12-foot birdie putt on the 18th hole Saturday to pull
even with Furyk at 13-under 197.
Furyk, one of Love's captain's picks, closed the third round with eight
straight pars.
D.J. Trahan (66) and second-round leader Arjun Atwal (69) share third place at
11-under.
