Tampa, FL-- Durant High scored with less than a minute to play, to cap a wild 4th quarter, as the Cougars edged Sickles High, 20-15.
In the 4th quarter, Sickles was trailing 14-3, when John Melvin Hendrick threw a pair of touchdown passes... one to Brieann Dollard and one to Chris Nahat. The second TD gave the Gryphons a 15-14 lead.
But with less than 1:00 to play, Je'Twan Smith connected with David Claypool for the winning score. as Durant improved to 6-1. Sickles fell to 5-2.
