Seffner, FL-- Armwood High knocked off Hillsborough High, 34-21, to take control of the 4A District 9 race.
Sophomore running back Matt Jones rushed for 119 yards and 3 touchdowns for the Hawks.
Tarean Austin threw for 299 yards and 3 touchdowns, for the Terriers.
Armwood improved to 6-1 on the season, 2-0 in the district. Hillsborough fell to 5-2, 1-1.
Overnight, someone painted a black "H" on the middle of the Lyle Flagg Stadium field. The field was repaired before the kickoff.
