Washington, DC (Sports Network) - The Washington Nationals have recalled pitcher John Lannan to start the first game of Friday's doubleheader against Miami.

Lannan will make his second big-league start this season and 130th of his career.

Plagued by injuries, he made 19 starts at Triple-A Syracuse and was 6-10 with a 5.24 ERA.
