Fort Myers, FL (Sports Network) - Jason Pridie had a two-run double in the top
of the ninth to help push the Baltimore Orioles past the Boston Red Sox, 5-2,
on Saturday in spring training action.
Xavier Avery also brought home a run in the ninth with a single for the
Orioles, who received and an RBI apiece earlier from Lew Ford and Nolan
Reimold. Ford went 3-for-3 in the victory.
Dylan Bundy made the start for Baltimore and allowed an unearned run on one
hit over two innings of work. Kevin Gausman and Mike Belfiore combined for
five scoreless innings before Zach Clark locked down the save.
Mauro Gomez got Lyle Overbay to cross the plate on a groundout in the ninth.
Felix Doubront struck out five over three innings for the Red Sox. He allowed
two runs on four hits.
