Minneapolis, Minnesota -- Tampa Bay Rays pitcher David Price was selected to his fourth All-Star Game this year, but didn't pitch because he had thrown only a few days before. But he did get to star in a segment on the "Late Show with David Letterman."
The "Late Show" producers sent Todd the Late Show Intern to cover the game, where he interviewed some of the players.
First, the intern mentioned to Price that race car drivers relieve themselves in their uniforms during a race. When asked if he did that, Price said, "Not on purpose."
Todd then asked Price if he wanted to hang out since he was not pitching. In the segment they go to the Mall of America, shoot some hoops and play the claw game, ride a merry-go-round wearing funny hats and take a ride on the Sponge-Bob Square Pants rollercoaster.
The segment ends with them declaring they are best friends while sharing a drink.
