New York, NY (Sports Network) - NBA MVP LeBron James and Kevin Durant
headline the 2011-12 All-NBA First Team.
James and Durant are joined by Chris Paul, Dwight Howard and Kobe Bryant, who
has made seven-straight First Teams and 10 in his career.
James received 118 of 120 First Team votes to make his fifth-consecutive First
Team and sixth overall. He led Miami in scoring (27.1 points per game),
assists (6.2 assists per game) and rebounding (7.9 rebounds per game). James
also shot a career-best 53.1 percent from the field this season.
Durant, who edged Bryant for the scoring title with 28 points per game, gained
117 First Team votes.
The Second Team consists of guards Russell Westbrook and Tony Parker, forwards
Kevin Love and Blake Griffin and center Andrew Bynum.
The Third Team includes guards Rajon Rondo and Dwyane Wade, forwards Carmelo
Anthony and Dirk Nowitzki and center Tyson Chandler, who was named the NBA
Defensive Player of the Year earlier this month.
