Indianapolis, IN (Sports Network) - The Indiana Pacers signed free agents Sam
Young, Sundiata Gaines and Blake Ahearn on Thursday.
Young, who is a small forward/shooting guard, has career averages of 6.6
points and 2.3 rebounds in 193 games (49 starts) with the Memphis Grizzlies
and Philadelphia 76ers.
Gaines, a point guard, has career averages of 4.5 points, 1.8 assists and 1.5
rebounds in 113 contests (12 starts) with the Jazz, Timberwolves, Raptors and
Nets.
Ahearn, who is also a guard, has 19 games of NBA experience with Miami, San
Antonio and Utah.
