Orlando, FL (Sports Network) - The Orlando Magic have waived swingman
Christian Eyenga and guard Armon Johnson.
Eyenga was acquired from the Lakers as part of the four-team, 12-player deal
in August that sent Dwight Howard to Los Angeles. He did not play in any of
Orlando's six preseason games.
The 23-year-old native of the Congo has averaged 6.3 points in 51 games over
two seasons with the Lakers and Cleveland. He was selected by the Cavaliers
with the 30th overall pick of the 2009 NBA Draft and played in Spain from
2007-10.
Johnson signed with Orlando as a free agent last month and averaged 3.2 points
in five preseason games. The 23-year-old Nevada product has averaged 3.3
points in 47 NBA games over two seasons with the Trail Blazers and Nets.
