Coral Gables, FL (Sports Network) - Shenise Johnson had a double-double with
19 points and 15 rebounds as No. 7 Miami-Florida ran over Clemson, 68-47, at
BankUnited Center on Sunday.
The Hurricanes (20-3, 9-1 ACC) got a 15-point effort from Riquna Williams as
they ripped off their ninth straight victory and their 37th straight home
victory.
Clemson (6-15, 2-8) was led by Nikki Dixon, who scored 16 points and pulled
down six boards. Lindsey Mason added six points and 10 rebounds for Clemson,
which has now lost five of its last six games.
The Hurricanes pulled off a 17-1 run in the first half as they took a 31-18
advantage going into halftime.
Miami-Florida outrebounded Clemson, 51-38, which led to it owning a 20-9
advantage in second-chance points as the Hurricanes cruised to victory.
