Lexington, KY (SportsNetwork.com) - Julius Randle recorded his eighth double-
double in 10 games to lead the 11th-ranked Kentucky Wildcats to a 70-55 win
over previously undefeated Boise State from Rupp Arena.
Randle contributed 17 points and 11 rebounds in the winning effort, breaking a
brief two-game slump without a double-double. Randle has scored in double
figures in all 10 of his collegiate games.
James Young netted a game-high 21 points to lead Kentucky (8-2), which bounced
back from a 67-62 loss to Baylor on Friday. Andrew and Aaron Harrison scored
13 points apiece.
Willie Cauley-Stein matched a career-high with nine blocks in the triumph.
Boise State (8-1) shot just 31.9 percent as a team, as leading scorers Anthony
Drmic and Derrick Marks combined to shoot just 13-of-40 collectively. Drmic
poured in 18 points while Marks had 14.
