Loretto, PA (Sports Network) - The Saint Francis University football team will play only four home games next season in an 11-game schedule that was announced Monday.

The Red Flash will play three opponents that made the 2011 FCS playoffs, Northeast Conference rival Albany and James Madison and Towson from CAA Football.

Saint Francis will kick off the season Sept. 1 with a road game against James Madison followed by its home opener at DeGol Field on Sept. 8 against fellow NEC member Bryant.

Coach Chris Villarrial's squad will then play their final non-conference games at Morehead State (Sept. 15) of the Pioneer Football League and Towson (Sept. 22).

Saint Francis' other home games within the NEC are against Robert Morris (Oct. 6), Wagner (Oct. 20) and Sacred Heart (Nov. 17). The Red Flash's conference road games are against Duquesne (Sept. 29), Albany (Oct. 13), Central Connecticut State (Oct. 27) and Monmouth (Nov. 10).

The Red Flashes were 2-9 this past season and have not finished with a winning record since 1992.
