Jackson, MS (Sports Network) - Jackson State senior running back and kick
returner B.J. Lee has ended his football career with the Tigers to concentrate
on track and field.
Lee, who transferred to Jackson State from SMU, rushed for 119 yards on 34
carries in four games this season. He averaged 55.8 all-purpose yards per
game.
The 5-foot-7, 185-pounder from Ridgeland, Miss., won the SWAC indoor title in
the 60-meter dash last winter.
