Green Bay, WI -- The Green Bay Packers proved too talent for the improved Buccaneers, winning their 10th straight game this season, 35-26.
The Bucs staged a 4th quarter rally that fell short, partially because of defensive backfield pass interference calls. They committed 3 on one drive in the 4th, that resulted in a John Kuhn 2 yard touchdown, that gave the Packers a 28-19 lead.
The Bucs responded with a 50 yard drive. Josh Freeman hit Dez Briscoe with a 2 yard touchdown pass, to make it 28-26, Packers, with 4:25 left.
But Aaron Rodgers led the Packers right back. He connected with Jordy Nelson on a 40 yard touchdown pass, with 2:55 left, that beat Myron Lewis on the coverage, making the final score, 35-26 Packers.
Rodgers finished 23-34 passing, for 299 yards, and 3 touchdowns.
Freeman was 28-38 passing, for 342 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions.
LeGarrett Blount finished with 107 yards on the ground, on 18 carries, most of that yardage in the first half. Kellen Winslow caught 9 passes, for 132 yards. Mike Williams made a strong appearance, with 7 receptions for 83 yards, and just his 2nd TD catch of the year.
The Bucs finally reached the end zone, 2 minutes into the 4th quarter. Josh Freeman hit Mike Williams for a 9 yard touchdown. Williams has 7 receptions for 83 yards.
The Bucs went for 2, but Kellen Winslow dropped the pass from Freeman.
The Bucs advanced inside the 5 yard line on a 3rd quarter drive, but could not push it inside the end zone. Kellen Winslow had a touchdown catch nullified by a pass interference call in the end zone. Connor Barth kicked a 32 yard field goal, to make it a 21-13 game.
The Bucs have the worst red zone offense in the NFL.
LeGarrette Blount has 106 yards rushing, on 16 carries.
Green Bay opened the scoring in the 2nd quarter with a Aaron Rodgers to Tom Crabtree hookup, good for 5 yards. Packers in front, 14-0.
