Nashville, TN (Sports Network) - Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt
was reportedly involved in another incident.
According to WGFX-FM in Nashville, Britt was arrested for driving under the
influence at the Fort Campbell Military Base. The Tennessean newspaper reports
that the Titans are aware of the incident and issued a statement that said the
team is "in the process of gathering more facts."
Britt is recovering from left knee surgery, which the Tennessean reported took
place following the team's minicamp at the end of June. He tore his right ACL
and MCL last September and had a cleanup operation on that knee in May.
In 31 games over three seasons with the Titans, Britt has 101 catches for
1,765 yards and 15 touchdowns. He was a first-round pick out of Rutgers in
2009.
However, the 23-year-old New Jersey native has also had numerous run-ins with
the law. He had a pair of traffic warrants in 2011 and the Tennessean said he
has had a total of seven incidents with police since he was drafted.
