Ashburn, VA (Sports Network) - The Washington Redskins on Thursday placed
both safety Tanard Jackson and running back Tristan Davis on the physically
unable to perform list.
Jackson had been released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in April due to a
failed physical, but was signed a short time later by the 'Skins.
The 27-year-old, who underwent offseason shoulder surgery, was suspended for
over a year in 2010 for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy. He
started 10 games last season after being reinstated and finished with 35
tackles and two interceptions.
Davis is a 26-year-old undrafted Auburn product.
