Orchard Park, NY (Sports Network) - The Buffalo Bills released quarterback
Vince Young on Monday.
Upon his release, Young tweeted Monday morning, "I want to thank the
Bills organization for the opportunity and wish the organization and my
teammates good luck this season".
Young struggled in Buffalo's first three preseason games, completing just 48
percent of his passes (25-of-52) while tossing zero touchdowns and two
interceptions.
The third player chosen in the 2006 NFL Draft, Young spent five years with the
Tennessee Titans before joining the Eagles in 2011.
Young has thrown for 8,964 yards with 46 touchdowns and 51 interceptions in 60
career games. He also has 12 rushing touchdowns.
