Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - Los Angeles Lakers guard Steve Blake
suffured an injury to his left foot after stepping on a spike strip in a
parking lot, the team announced Monday.
The nine-year veteran out of the University of Maryland will be prohibited
from participating in any impact exercises with the Lakers for approximately
three weeks.
Blake has been with the Lakers for the past two seasons, last year averaging
5.2 points and 3.3 assists per game.
Blake has also spent time with the Los Angeles Clippers, Portland Trail
Blazers, Denver Nuggets, Milwaukee Bucks and Washington Wizards over the
course of his career, averaging 6.9 points and 3.9 assists per game.
