Ottawa, ON (Sports Network) - The Ottawa Senators signed forward Guillaume
Latendresse to a one-year deal on Sunday.
Latendresse, 25, only played in 27 games over the past two seasons because of
varying injuries, including a concussion that kept him sidelined for most of
last season.
In 2009-10, Latendresse had a break-out year after being traded to the
Minnesota Wild. After only scoring two goals in 23 games with the Canadiens,
Latendresse exploded for 25 goals in 55 games with the Wild after a mid-season
trade.
In six years with the Canadiens and Wild, Latendresse has scored 81 goals and
set up 56 others in 314 games.
