Sunrise, FL (Sports Network) - The Florida Panthers agreed to terms on a
two-year contract with unrestricted free agent forward George Parros on
Sunday.
"George is a physical player who adds toughness to our lineup," said Panthers
general manager Dale Tallon. "He is a high-character, hard-working player who
is respected throughout the league. We look forward to George's contributions
to our club both on and off the ice."
The 32-year-old winger and Princeton product will bring a physical presence to
the Panthers. In 413 NHL games with the Kings, Avalanche and Ducks, he has
compiled 17 goals, 33 points and 950 penalty minutes.
Parros won a Stanley Cup with Anaheim in 2007.
