Montreal, QC (Sports Network) - The Montreal Canadiens have signed forward
Aaron Palushaj to a one-year, two-way contract.
The 22-year-old appeared in 38 games with the Canadiens last season, logging a
goal and four assists. The points were the first of his NHL career and he
scored his first goal with the Habs on March 17.
Palushaj also skated in 35 games with Hamilton of the American Hockey League
last season, finishing third on the club with 35 points off 15 goals and 20
assists.
A former second-round pick of the St. Louis Blues in 2007, the American-born
Palushaj was acquired by Montreal from St. Louis on March 3, 2010 in exchange
for forward Matt D'Agostini.
