Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - The Philadelphia Flyers re-signed
defenseman Marc-Andre Bourdon to a multi-year contract extension and signed
center Scott Laughton to an entry-level contract on Wednesday. Financial terms
of the deal were not disclosed.
Bourdon was a third-round selection of the Flyers in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft
and appeared in 45 games last season, scoring four goals and three assists.
Laughton was Philadelphia's first-round selection in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
He spent the past two seasons with the Oshawa Generals of the Ontario Hockey
League, registering 33 goals and 76 points over 127 games. In 2011-12 the 18-
year-old had 53 points over 64 games, but 41 of those points (18 goals, 23
assists) came in the final 39 games of the season.
