St. Paul, MN (Sports Network) - Devin Setoguchi scored the game-winner with 39
seconds left in overtime to lift the Minnesota Wild to a 2-1 triumph over the
Nashville Predators on Saturday at Xcel Energy Center.
Cal Clutterbuck also the lit the lamp, while Ryan Suter added a pair of
assists to help the Wild snap a three-game skid.
Niklas Backstrom stopped 25 shots, including 12 in the third period, to earn
the victory.
Chris Mason saved 30-of-32 shots for the Predators, who saw their four-game
winning streak come to an end.
Paul Gaustad scored the lone Nashville goal, but was called for a
controversial hand pass in the faceoff circle at the 2:48 mark of overtime to
set up Setoguchi's power-play tally.
