(USA TODAY) -- Supermodel Kate Upton has certainly been getting her sports fix lately.

First, she graces the cover of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue and now ... there she is showing four major league stars the finer points of playing the MLB 2K12 video game.

In the online ad -- titled "Finger Mechanics" -- Upton's video game cover counterpart, Justin Verlander of the Detroit Tigers, is joined by outfielder Jay Bruce of the Reds and pitchers David Price of the Rays and C.J. Wilson of the Angels as they attempt to gain entrance to The Perfect Club.

The club is a reference to the game's annual $1 million competition to be the first to pitch a perfect game.

However, the chance to be in the video with Upton may be close enough to perfect for the four ballplayers.

Price's Twitter feed is jammed with a mixture of congratulations and envy this morning following the video's online release.

Price apparently enjoyed the experience, telling Twitter followers that he "messed up purposely to continue shooting that scene" in which Upton gets up close and personal in her instruction. As one might expect, Price is thankful to have the opportunity to learn under her tutelage.
